The City of Winslow is putting together Neighborhood Committees and scheduling a Citizen's Academy for anyone who wants to learn more about how the City functions. Police Department

It is our goal to protect and serve the citizens of the community, the
business owners, and our visitors. Our approach is to provide a safe and
secure environment where everyone can enjoy the special culture of the
Winslow area.
Winslow Police Department is a full service department operating with 26
sworn officers and 10 civilians, a Chief of Police, 2 Lieutenants, and 4
Sergeants, with 1 assigned to investigations, 2 Investigators, 5 Corporals
and 12 officers.
Specialty areas include Bike Patrol, which currently has 4 bicycles and 4 officers who work special events and special details when weather permits.
Other programs include a Drug and Gang Task Force and School Resource Officer program.
