Police Department

It is our goal to protect and serve the citizens of the community, the business owners, and our visitors. Our approach is to provide a safe and secure environment where everyone can enjoy the special culture of the Winslow area.

Winslow Police Department is a full service department operating with 26 sworn officers and 10 civilians, a Chief of Police, 2 Lieutenants, and 4 Sergeants, with 1 assigned to investigations, 2 Investigators, 5 Corporals and 12 officers.

Specialty areas include Bike Patrol, which currently has 4 bicycles and 4 officers who work special events and special details when weather permits.

Other programs include a Drug and Gang Task Force and School Resource Officer program.
